The AMG C63 is a crazy idea from Mercedes engineers who – not as before, put a more efficient engine in one of the existing Mercedes bodies – but this time they redesigned the compact body of the C-Class and put in it a powerful, 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine with a power of (depending on the model and production date) 457-507 HP and a torque of about 600 Nm driving the wheels on the rear axle. Some say that this is the last real AMG and therefore it can be expected that this model will not lose its value. The current regulations on exhaust gas standards will no longer allow for such whims. It just so happened that my friend was such an AMG with me on the Nordschleife and after returning he gave it to me for a few days for testing.
I wasn’t entirely sure if I wanted to buy a Mercedes, I was constantly thinking about BMW and looking for a V8 I turned my attention towards the 650i model, equipped with a 4.4 liter V8 engine, supercharged with two turbines. Unfortunately, these engines had a flawed design and you have to be very careful not to run into costs. I’ve seen one, and I’ve also ridden a BMW M3, which is a really nice driving experience.
Ultimately, however, after analyzing all the factors, I made a deal with my friend and became the owner of a beautiful and hellishly loud Mercedes AMG C63, who also once starred in a Concaver CRV4 commercial.
And the BMW 335i is still in my garage and I’m still wondering whether to put it up for sale after the winter or keep it, because it doesn’t lose value either.
